WrongWay Car Accident
The wrong way crash occurred early in the morning. According to Raul Garcia, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman, around 2 a.m. police received emergency calls about a car driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near State Route 143.
Around 2:08 a.m., the car, still driving against traffic in the eastbound lanes, collided with another car near Seventh Avenue. Just after the collision, three other cars drove through the wreckage, hitting debris and the two vehicles that were involved in the initial car accident.
